Thurnscoe Rifle Club

CLUB DAYS

Monthly club days are held at the range on the 3nd Saturday of every month. A committee member will usually be at the range from 9.30 am till around 12, (depending on weather) The club .22 rifles and ammo will be available for the use of probationary members, The demand for these rifles is usually high so any member wishing to use the rifles must book a time slot, if we do not know that someone will be coming who needs to use the rifles, we may not have it with us!!

The club days are an ideal chance to meet other members and see various types of rifles in action (great if you are unsure what to purchase!) A lot of members just come along for the social aspect of the day.

We now have an air rifle firing point and Club Air Rifle availble for supervised use by probationary members who have completed their Safety Induction. A selection of knockdown targets are set up to shoot at. The Air Rifle cabin is extreamly popular and so you may have to wait for a slot.

PLEASE NOTE: in extreme circumstances a committee member may not be available on a club day, this also means that the club rifle will not be available, any probationary member who has booked to use it will be notified.
